On March 29th, School of Public Administration and Political Science and Law held a seminar on setting up the postgraduate training process in the conference room 01212, Building 0, Jiuli Campus. Party and government leaders of the college, heads of departments, academic leaders and teacher representatives attended the seminar. Hua Baoyu, Director of Graduate School Training Office, was specially invited to interpret the program.
Director Hua Baoyu explained the problems and solutions existing in the postgraduate training of the university. The university comprehensively reformed the postgraduate training system, aiming to promote the transfer of the focus of postgraduate training to the improvement of scientific research and academic ability, and continuously improve the ability and level of postgraduate scientific research and academic innovation. According to the general idea of "fewer but better", we plan and design the graduate curriculum system of all disciplines, strictly control the quantity and ensure the quality, and form the university's master database of excellent graduate courses. The formulation of this program will be based on the reasonable design of the implementation program of the postgraduate training process of all disciplines, greatly reducing the course credit requirements, improving the training process and link credit requirements, and forming the "research" centered talent training implementation program of all disciplines as the goal.
The school requires the discipline leaders to play a key role in in-depth discussion, improve the graduate training program, focus on the "whole process" of student training, combined with the characteristics of each discipline training, scientific and reasonable design of the discipline talent training system, requires the program to be demand-oriented, strengthen the construction of the discipline curriculum system and curriculum design of scientific and rational research. Restructuring the subject curriculum system based on the needs of talent cultivation. From the perspective of ideology, through the ideological and political study of the faculty and staff, the graduate supervisor fully understands the goal and direction of the current graduate training, and the college sets up a graduate training supervision group to supervise the process of graduate training.
