Rao Ai, female, Professor, Master Supervisor. She successively graduated from Southwest University of Political Science and Law Department of Law and Central South University of Political Science and Law, respectively obtained Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws in Legal Theory degrees. She has successively taught in Central South University of Political Science and Law and Southwest Jiaotong University Department of Law. She is now the leader of law and legal theory in the School of Public Affairs & Law.
She has presided over and completed more than 10 National Philosophy and Social Science Planning Projects, Ministry of Justice projects, Sichuan Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Planning Projects and other research projects, wrote 7 books (including textbooks), and published more than 30 articles in CSSCI or Core journals such asJournal of Comparative Lawand other academic journals. She has won the second prize of Excellent Textbooks of the Ministry of Justice and the first prize of Excellent Research Achievements of Sichuan Province Law Society. She studied and guided the study of seven legislative motions and proposals, which were put forward to the ninth and tenth sessions of the National People’s Congress by Delegates thereto, and received attention and were adopted to varying degrees. She is also an academic member of Sichuan Province Law Society, Vice President of Sichuan Jurisprudence Society, Council Member of National Foreign Legal History Research Society, and Standing Council Member of Sichuan Constitutional and Administrative Law Society. She is an editorial board member of Journal ofSouthwest Jiaotong University (Social Science Edition)and an arbitrator of Chengdu Arbitration Commission. She is an Exceptional Expert with Outstanding Contributions of Sichuan Province.
She mainly engaged in the teaching and research of legal theory (comparative law, legislative law), legal history, constitutional law, labor law and social security law.
